The Ministry of Internal Affairs denied the increase in fines for the lack of masks in Moscow

This is stated in a message posted on Twitter by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"The information posted on the Baza Telegram channel that the leadership of the capital's police was instructed to increase the number of fines for lack of masks among citizens is not true," the ministry said.

Earlier, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova named the average number of fines for violation of the mask regime per week.

Also URA.RU wrote that in the Sverdlovsk region since April 2020, the amount of fines charged for violation of the sanitary regime amounted to 77 million rubles.
