It is clarified that at the moment the discount is provided automatically only for individuals with non-cash payment.
The department also noted that the provision of the discount was initially initiated as a temporary measure - until January 1, 2023.
“Since there have been no proposals to extend it, the revenue part of the draft federal budget for 2023-2025 has been drawn up taking into account the cancellation of this discount,” RIA Novosti quotes the department.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Vasily Vlasov proposed to reduce the cost of utilities during planned outages of hot water.
