"A difficult situation with wildfires is developing in the Volga region," the press service reports to TASS.
It is noted that forest fires in Mordovia and the Nizhny Novgorod region are extinguished by groups of the Russian Emergencies Ministry from 12 regions.
In the Republic of Mari El and the Samara region, the aviation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is involved in order to extinguish the fire.
According to the ministry, there is no threat of fires spreading to settlements.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in Mordovia told about the situation with the fire in the Mordovian nature reserve.
