The Ministry of Defense said that the multimedia section tells about the exploits of the Soviet soldiers who liberated Dnepropetrovsk.
It contains operational documents of the Red Army formations, award materials of the liberators of the city, registration cards of military graves, letters from grateful Dnepropetrovsk residents.
The troops of the 46th and 8th Guards armies were involved in the liberation operation, they included about 100 thousand military personnel, 2 thousand guns and mortars and five tanks.
On March 21, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the launch of the Archives Remember Everything project, which is dedicated to proving the crimes and atrocities of Ukrainian nationalists against their people during the Great Patriotic War.
