The meeting analyzed the current situation of the epidemic in Hong Kong, and believed that the new coronavirus, especially the Omicron variant, is still spreading rapidly in the Hong Kong community, the number of confirmed cases continues to increase significantly, the medical system is under heavy pressure, and the epidemic has not peaked.

The meeting also decided that the two sides should set up a number of working groups to connect and implement related work.
