[Explanation] 2021 is the 84th anniversary of the Nanjing Massacre by the Japanese invaders. The survivors of the massacre are getting aging. In recent years, news of the old people's departure has followed one after another.

According to official statistics from the memorial, 11 survivors died this year alone.

The small lights were extinguished on the photo wall. These old people who survived hard with the scars of war have left the world with the cruel truth of the massacre.

My father (during his lifetime) often told me about these things. There are pictures left from our family about the scars on his body when he was a child.

[Explanation] Fu Qiang, the son of Fu Zhaozeng, told reporters that his father would participate in various peaceful exchange activities as long as conditions permit.

Now that his father is gone, he will continue to spread this historical memory.
