Today, Monday, through its official Facebook account, the Lebanese Basketball Federation announced the cancellation of all its championships for the 2019-2020 season.
He said in an official statement: "Because of the force majeure that the country suffers from since the date of 18/10/2019 until the hour without interruption, it was decided to cancel all tournaments for the various grades and categories for the 2019-2020 season without any exception."
He added, "He will form a specialized committee to prepare and conduct the necessary studies in order to develop a clear vision that includes the form, structure and systems of next season's tournaments in light of the exceptional difficult and critical conditions that basketball suffers from at various levels and levels."
He concluded, "The federation calls on all clubs departments, coaches, players and the basketball family to fully cooperate in order to overcome this difficult stage and coordination in order to work to launch the next season's championships in the best possible way."
