Xing Haiming congratulated the opening of the exhibition and said that China and South Korea have fought side by side to fend off foreign enemies many times in the history.

Facing the barbaric aggression of Japanese imperialism, the two peoples with lofty ideals share the same hatred and support each other, and the key members of the Korean Provisional Government have forged a profound friendship with the older generation of leaders of the Communist Party of China.

At present, China and South Korea have mutual political trust, economic and trade integration, and cultural exchanges, and they have become veritable strategic partners.

Next year is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, and bilateral relations are facing important development opportunities.

China is willing to work with friends from all walks of life in South Korea to continue to carry forward the great spirit of the older generation of people with lofty ideals to save the country and the people, and to work hard, strengthen the belief in peaceful development, and continue to deepen the friendship between China and South Korea, so as to better benefit the two countries and peoples and create a better future.

Han Shijun said that China was the first country to unite with South Korea, and it was also the country that had the longest joint resistance against Japan.

The two peoples used various parts of China as the stage to cooperate closely and fought side by side in various ways, and finally won the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japan.

Chinese friends have made irreplaceable and important contributions to the Korean independence movement.

The Independence Hall hopes to use this exhibition as an opportunity to continuously strengthen the research and maintenance of the heroic history of the two countries' resistance to Japanese imperialist aggression, and continue to add new impetus to the deepening and development of South Korea-China cooperation.

Lee Jong-jie said that South Korea and China have paid a heavy price and sacrifices to fight against Japanese imperialist aggression. The friendship between the people of the two countries forged in adversity is sincere and deep, which is a valuable asset between South Korea and China.

Countless martyrs such as Mr. Zheng Lucheng, who wrote the "Military Song of the Chinese People's Liberation Army", and General Yoon Sejo who gave his precious life to the Chinese War of Resistance Against Japan, have witnessed the unforgettable historical friendship between South Korea and China.

Taking history as a mirror to create the future, in the current complex situation of fierce competition between China and the United States, it is hoped that South Korea and China will stick to their original aspirations, inherit the legacy of the martyrs, and continue to carry forward the friendship between the two countries.
