The national junior team launched in 2004, yesterday, its training program with the video communication system (remote), in the first stations to prepare for participation in the Asian Cup U-16 finals, scheduled in Bahrain next September.

The team's director, Salem Al-Yaqoubi, said in press statements that "the technical staff has been keen during the last period to hold continuous meetings remotely with the medical device, to develop the appropriate program for the players who were chosen within the expanded list," noting that "the program will continue for a whole week And during which the focus will be on the physical side and raising the rate of physical fitness, especially in light of the stopping of sports activity as a result of the pandemic (Corona) and relying on distance training.

Al-Yaqoubi added, "The technical staff will follow up on the players and monitor their rate of physical fitness through modern devices."

The junior team qualified for the finals well, after its leadership of the sixth group that included the teams of Kyrgyzstan, Iraq and Lebanon, where he collected the full score (nine points).

The Asian Football Confederation has set next June 18 as the date for the drawing of the championship draw, in the form of video calling and with the participation of representatives of all the qualified teams.
