The Jiu-Jitsu Federation announced the organization of the Emirates Revitalizing Jiu-Jitsu Championship for young and promising, on 27 and 28 of this month, in the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in the capital, Abu Dhabi. The Vice-President of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, stressed that this championship reflects the union’s keenness to translate the vision of the wise leadership in optimal investment in the younger age groups, which represents the basic building block for building a society with a high level of knowledge and culture, and continuing a path crowned with global achievements and successes for the state in these Sports, pointing out that holding the tournament before the end of the summer vacation contributes to motivating youngsters to participate in real fights, within an exceptionally enthusiastic atmosphere.

Al Dhaheri explained that the tournament aims to participate in the largest number of young people of both sexes, in light of the many positive indicators that there is a broad base of jiu-jitsu practitioners of these age groups, which is the basis for building the base required for the development of the game.
