On August 11, Huang Jinliang, chairman of the Hong Kong Federation of Education Workers, said in an exclusive interview with a reporter from China News Agency that as one of Hong Kong's important education organizations, the Federation of Education has served Hong Kong teachers for nearly half a century.

Currently, the Federation of Education is planning to set up a teachers union to provide more services to Hong Kong teachers in three areas: rights, professional development, and welfare.

The most important thing is that we are now planning the arrangement of manpower, as well as the arrangement of some resources, as well as the establishment of the secretariat, etc., and we are now negotiating.

After the launch of this union in the future, I believe that it can be more representative, can help teachers, and safeguard the rights of teachers at the level of rights and interests.

Huang Jinliang pointed out that in the future, the Federation of Education will strengthen cooperation with universities and training institutions to provide teachers with more courses they need.
