"Christopher Miller will meet with colleagues and representatives of the leaderships of these countries on December 5 in Indonesia and the Philippines to discuss the importance of bilateral military cooperation and ensuring a free and open Indo-Pacific region," TASS reports.

It is clarified that then Miller will go to Hawaii to the headquarters of the US Pacific Command, where he will take part in a virtual format in a joint meeting with the Defense Ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Earlier, Miller paid a visit to the Middle East, where he met with the US military who are in the region, as well as with the leaders of the "host countries."
