“From July 1 to December 31, 2022, inclusive, Russia will have restrictions on the export of feed amino acids, rice and rice groats.

The government signed the relevant resolutions prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia, ”the press service of the ministry said, quoted by RIA Novosti.

The decisions were made in connection with ensuring the country's food security and to maintain stable domestic prices for products.

Restrictions have been introduced, among other things, on L-lysine sulfate, L-lysine monohydrochloride and DL-methionine, which are feed amino acids necessary for a complete diet of animals.

At the same time, the ban does not apply to the export of substances to the EAEU countries, Abkhazia, South Ossetia, the DPR and the LPR.

Restrictions on the export of rice and rice groats will also not apply to export to the EAEU countries.

In April, Russia suspended until July 1 the export of wheat, meslin, rye, barley and corn to countries that are not members of the Eurasian Economic Union.
