Today she is going to Toulouse where she will meet the unions and the management of the European aircraft manufacturer. But this morning, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, the Minister for Industry, left no doubt about the government's position on Airbus.

“What we are asking Airbus is to have a target of zero forced departures,” she said on the BFMTV-RMC antenna. The social plan now provides for the elimination of 5,000 jobs, including 3,500 in Toulouse and 1,000 in Loire-Atlantique.

"It is a target because there has to be a social dialogue and that the social dialogue goes to the end," she said. The State has put in place a vast 15 billion support plan for the aeronautics industry, which will support both airlines and the manufacturer and its subcontractors.
