China News Agency, Berlin, October 25 (Reporter Peng Dawei) The United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) will open in Glasgow, UK a week later.

A reporter from China News Agency learned from the organizer of the conference on the 24th that during COP26, the British government will recognize various new crown vaccines vaccinated by delegates and media reporters, including Sinopharm and Kexing vaccine.

The full name of COP26 is the 26th Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

This conference was originally supposed to be held in November 2020, but was postponed for one year due to the new crown epidemic.

This UN Climate Change Conference is the first climate conference since the "Paris Agreement" entered the implementation stage, and has attracted attention from all parties.

Espinosa, Executive Secretary of the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, recently urged developed countries to take the lead in increasing climate action under the principle of "common but differentiated responsibilities".

She also called on companies and investors to achieve their investment portfolios in line with the Paris Agreement and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2024.

Up to now, the heads of state or government of more than 120 countries have confirmed that they will attend the first phase of the high-level meeting of COP26.

According to British media reports, 20,000 to 25,000 participants are expected to participate in COP26 offline.

This also makes it the largest offline international conference since the epidemic.

In terms of epidemic prevention policies, the organizers provided China News Agency reporters in the regulations that stated that the British government and the Scottish government have formulated special travel exemption policies for COP26 participants, which will recognize Sinopharm, Kexing, and Russian "Satellite V", etc. Including a variety of new crown vaccines.

At the same time, the British government will also provide free vaccination for those who cannot get the opportunity to get vaccinated.

In order to ensure the smooth holding of this UN Climate Change Conference, the organizers have formulated strict epidemic prevention requirements, including that all participants must be tested for COVID-19 before arriving in Glasgow; regardless of whether they have been fully vaccinated, they must be tested every day during the conference.

People who have traveled to countries on the British government’s “red list of epidemics” within the past ten days must go to the designated hotel for isolation after entry. Those who are fully vaccinated must be quarantined for 5 days, and those who have not been fully vaccinated must be quarantined for 10 days. If it is positive, an additional 10 days will be required.
