The federation confirmed in a press statement that the meeting discussed the program for preparing the first national team for the coming months of October and November in preparation for the joint qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup Finals, which FIFA decided to postpone to next year due to the current health conditions, as well as The program for preparing the junior team for the AFC U-16 Championship, scheduled in Bahrain, which has been postponed to next year, as the General Secretariat has been assigned to coordinate with the relevant authorities in the country about the scheduled camps and matches to ensure public safety.
The Council reviewed the report of the Referees Committee, which included all the activities and programs that the committee has implemented during the past period and the courses and workshops that will be organized during the coming period within the framework of preparations for the new football season, while promotions of a number of referees have been approved from second to first degree, and from third degree to The second, and from the newcomer to the third degree, after passing the promotion tests approved by the committee, as well as the approval of the results of the participants in the new referees course that was held last July via video communication.
