The price of the dollar rose against the Egyptian pound, during Monday’s trading, by about 5 piasters, to be considered the first increase in the price of the dollar after the Central Bank of Egypt’s decision to raise interest rates by 200, or 2%.

The price of the dollar rose in the National Bank of Egypt, to record 18.28 pounds for purchase, 18.34 pounds for sale, compared to 18.23 pounds for purchase, and 18.29 pounds for sale.

And the price of the dollar increased today in the Suez Canal Bank, to record 18.26 pounds for purchase and 18.36 pounds for sale, compared to 18.21 pounds for purchase, and 18.31 pounds for sale.

The price of the dollar in the Bank of Alexandria jumped today, to record 18.29 pounds for purchase, 18.36 pounds for sale, compared to 18.24 pounds for purchase, and 18.31 pounds for sale.

The price of the dollar also increased in the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, to record 18.32 pounds for purchase and 18.38 pounds for sale instead of 18.25 pounds for purchase, and 18.31 pounds for sale.
