Emirates Airlines said that its first regular flights launched today to destinations that include Melbourne, London Heathrow and Milan.

The airline announced the resumption of regular passenger services to 9 destinations, starting today 21 May 2020, after taking all precautions and preventive measures that guarantee the safety of its employees and customers.

The carrier will also allow its customers to continue their travel between the United Kingdom and Australia via Dubai, and these flights are available for reservation on the website.

Those wishing to travel on these trips will be able to book if they meet the specific requirements and conditions of entry to the intended destinations, including the approval of the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship for the residents of the UAE who wish to return to the country.

Emirates has repeatedly emphasized that it places the safety and health of its customers and employees at the top of its list of priorities. In preparation for the resumption of passenger services, it has stepped up precautions and safety measures on aircraft and at the airport.

In addition to scheduled flights, Emirates Airlines continues to work closely with embassies and consulates to facilitate the return of visitors and residents to their countries.
