Candidate Lee later attended a public debate, where he expressed his intention to accept the special prosecutor conditionally on the suspicion of preferential treatment for Daejang-dong.



After the premise that the investigation should be watched, it is necessary to thoroughly investigate the facts and hold accountability through the special prosecutor if there is still insufficient information or questions remain.



However, he pointed out that an investigation into this part is necessary, saying that there is a problem that Yoon knew and covered up the corruption related to the initial financing of Daejang-dong when he was a prosecutor.



Candidate Lee will visit the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the afternoon to meet with business people and explain ways to revitalize the economy.



People's Power Candidate Seok-Yeol Yoon will visit Gwangju on a two-day, one-night schedule starting today.



It has been three weeks since the controversy arose over 'Chun Doo-hwan's remarks'.



Candidate Yoon plans to apologize for causing controversy after visiting the May 18 Democratic Cemetery.



However, a clash with Candidate Yoon's side is also expected because a group of college students who are holding tents near the Democracy Cemetery is planning to block Candidate Yoon's visits.
