Recently, a China-Europe train (Yuxinou) loaded with 96 TEUs of household appliances, clothing and other goods departed from Chongqing Tuanjie Village Station and will leave the country through Khorgos Port, passing through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, etc. countries, across the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea, and finally reach European countries through rail-sea combined transport.

The smooth departure of this train marked the successful operation of the first cross-"two seas" line of the China-Europe Railway (Yuxin-Europe) South Channel.

The rapid development of China Railway Express is not only reflected in the growth of "quantity", but also in the leap of "quality".

According to the statistics of Horgos Customs, while the value of goods carried by China-Europe freight trains has increased significantly, the commodity structure has also been optimized. Increase.

Among the new lines, the local train lines in Xinjiang also showed a trend of substantial growth.

In 2021, 11 new China-Europe train lines will be opened from Horgos Port, including Urumqi to Russia, Korla to Georgia, and Changji to Kazakhstan.

Of the 5 new lines added in 2022, 2 will be China-Europe freight train lines operated locally in Xinjiang, namely Kashgar to Almaty and Kashi Yecheng to Sbi Daming, Tajikistan.

So far, there are 61 China-Europe freight trains operating at Horgos Port.

Since the beginning of this year, the number of China-Europe trains passing through Xinjiang railway ports has exceeded 4,000. With the rapid development of China-Europe trains, the location advantage of Horgos Port has been further highlighted. The interconnection of countries along the “One Road” will further expand the “circle of friends” that Xinjiang has opened to the outside world.
