The theme of the competition is "Ronghui Baiye Smart Sharing of the Future". Since the start of the competition on May 16 this year, more than 12,000 projects have been solicited in various sub-competitions across the country.

  Wang Zhiqin, vice president of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, said that the "Bloom Cup" 5G application solicitation contest has become a grand event of cross-industry integration and exchanges after four years of development. The application of "Sailing Sail" plays an important role.

  It is understood that this year 55 projects in Shenzhen have entered the finals of the competition, and 39 projects have won awards, accounting for 13% of the country.

Among them, 11 projects participated in the first and second prize competitions, such as Shenzhen Gas's 5G+ smart gas; Skyworth's 5G+ flexible factory; Sun Yat-sen University's 8th Hospital's 5G smart medical project.

  It is reported that at present, Shenzhen is gradually showing its first-mover advantage in 5G applications.

These include the integration of 5G and vertical industries, 5G digital government construction, 5G characteristic application demonstration parks, core technology research in the 5G application field, 5G modules and chip scale applications, etc., providing system support for the large-scale development of 5G applications. .

  In addition, Shenzhen has 5G full industry chain enterprises including terminals, base station systems, network architectures, application scenarios, and multiple 5G integration innovation centers, which can quickly organize and build various application scenarios.

  At the opening ceremony, Ouyang Huiyu, deputy head of Futian District, Shenzhen, released the "Three-year Action Plan for 5G Development in Futian District (2021-2023)".

  The final is hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and jointly hosted by the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the People's Government of Futian District, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, and the BRICS Future Network Research Institute (Shenzhen, China).
