Police have been tracking the victim's communications, and they were suspicious that their social media accounts continued to be used even after the victim disappeared.

The police, who identified the suspect by tracking communication history, arrested his younger brother A, who was staying in Andong.
As a result of a police investigation, it was revealed that Mr. A murdered his older sister in an apartment in Namdong-gu, Incheon, where he lived with his older sister in December of last year, and abandoned his body in an agricultural waterway in Ganghwa Island 10 days later.
The police said that Mr. A stated in the investigation, "The character didn't match with my sister, and there were usually minor quarrels."
The police are also checking the circumstances in which Mr. A withdrew money from his sister's account and confirming the association with the crime.
The police will determine the exact motive for the crime of Mr. A and apply for an arrest warrant.
