A member of the Players’ Status and Transfers Committee in the Emirates Football Association, the official spokesperson for the committee, Counselor Yaqoub Al-Ali, confirmed that “according to the regulations, the summer transfer market for clubs to contract with foreign players from outside the country has been closed yesterday at 12 pm, i.e. with Entering the date of today, the 29th of this month, knowing that the last date for closing the summer transfer window is the fourth of next month.

Yaqoub Al-Ali told "Emirates Today" that any club inside the country has the right to contract with foreign players from outside the country, 21 days after the end of the current transfer period or registration outside the transfer period, if the player is free, provided that his contract is with his original club. It expired before today's date, which is September 29, and that there is a vacancy in the club that wishes to sign the player.

Yaqoub Al-Ali indicated that any foreign player in the UAE domestic league can move to any other club inside the local clubs or outside the country until the fourth of next October, whether it is a transfer or loan.
