Marketed for the first time in 1987 in the BMW 750i, the V12 engine made the heyday of the 8 Series (1st of the name), before equipping the top-of-the-range models of the manufacturer's largest sedan.

Above all, it has equipped all Rolls Royces since the takeover of the British brand by the German group.

In June, it will bow out in cars with blue propellers, only to remain under bonnets adorned with the famous Spirit of Ecstasy.

To celebrate this departure, BMW will launch a special series of the M760i xDrive called “The Final V12”.

Limited to 12 numbered copies, all reserved for the American market, it will be very richly equipped.

And no need to rush to the dealership, it is the manufacturer who will select and contact the customers who will be deemed worthy of this collector.
