The Egyptian President visits the UAE pavilion at the “Our Heritage” exhibition in Cairo

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected the UAE pavilion represented by the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the “Our Heritage” exhibition for handicrafts and heritage held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in the Fifth Settlement during the period from 9 to 15 October.

During his tour, the Egyptian President valued the projects of the UAE pavilion, which is participating for the first time in the exhibition, in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Egyptian Prime Minister, H.E. Nevin Gamea, Minister of Trade and Industry and CEO of the Enterprise Development Authority, H.E. Nabila Makram Ebeid, Minister of State for Immigration and Egyptian Affairs Abroad, and H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, and Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development in Egypt.

Mohammed Ali Musabeh Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce, said in his statements that the Chamber is participating for the first time in the “Our Heritage” exhibition, which is organized by the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprise Development Authority in the Arab Republic of Egypt in the context of strengthening cooperation and joint commercial and cultural ties between the two countries. The participation aims to review Projects of the Saud Bin Saqr Foundation for the Development of Youth Enterprises, through which visitors are introduced to the heritage products of more than 100 Emirati exhibitors.

He explained that the exhibition represents an important platform to increase trade exchange with participants from the Egyptian side, stressing that the Arab Republic of Egypt is a key partner of the UAE in various economic and development activities, especially in the field of supporting small and medium enterprises with the aim of opening new markets for the owners of these projects from the Emirati youth and helping them open New markets to market their products, and to enhance joint cooperation and exchange of experiences between manufacturers of handicrafts and heritage at the regional and international levels.

Al-Nuaimi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian President for hosting the Emirati heritage products represented in the projects of the Saud Bin Saqr Foundation for Youth Enterprise Development, which includes in its membership 1,435 national projects since its establishment until September 2021, noting that the Foundation is working to provide facilities and exemptions from commercial license fees and consultancy Business development and business incubators from joint and executive offices, in addition to training and awareness programs and participation in local and international exhibitions and events.
