The Egyptian Football Association has taken a new decision related to the return of sports activity in Egypt in light of recent events and developments in the outbreak of the new Corona Virus outbreak, after it had taken a tentative time in mid-May to return to this activity, within the framework of the current procedures.
Sports activity has stopped in Egypt since March 14 due to an outbreak of the Corona virus, and Al-Ahly tops the championship standings with 49 points from 17 games, followed by Arab contractors with 33 points from 18 games, then Pyramids with 32 points from 18 games, then Zamalek comes with 31 points Of 16 games.
The Egyptian Football Association announced, through an official statement, the suspension of football activity again until the end of the month of May, and the federation added in its statement: “The extension of the comment came based on the decisions issued by the Prime Minister to continuously impose a ban on the movement of citizens and limit large gatherings as a decision applies. The activity is suspended on all levels of local competitions and all ages.
