The custody of the former Olympic champion swimmer Yannick Agnel, accused of rape and sexual assault on a minor, was extended Friday, told AFP the prosecutor of the Republic of Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin) Edwige Roux-Morizot .

Arrested at midday on Thursday at his home in Paris on rogatory commission, the 29-year-old former sportsman, retired from the basins since 2016, was placed in police custody as part of a judicial investigation opened in Mulhouse for "rape and sexual assault on a 15-year-old minor ”.
