Two years ago, the Corvette C8 hit the headlines by adopting the V8 in a central position, thus abandoning its traditional architecture.
This new provision shocked a rather conservative clientele who lost their bearings.
More European in its conception, the American has yet shunned the Old Contains so far.
However, things will change since it will be imported from October.
Equipped with a 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox, it develops 475 hp and 613 Nm. For Europe, it will be equipped with a sports exhaust, adjustable suspensions, Brembo brakes and a limited slip differential.
It will also play the full equipment card with navigation, head-up display and heated seats.
Its price has not yet been revealed, but is expected to be fiercely competitive as always.
