The contract with the club extends over the 2023 season.

Michaela "Sheila" van den Bulk, 32, came to Djurgården from Norwegian Kolbotn five years ago.

She was also part of the Dutch national team that won European Championship gold in 2017.

Now games are waiting in Kristianstad, which finished third.

- I perceive Kristianstad as a club that has been very stable in recent years with high quality in the player squad and the business in general, she says.

- I will do my utmost and hope that with my qualities I can contribute so that we can be part of the top battle in the coming years as well.

Coach Elisabet Gunnarsdottir on the new acquisition:

- "Sheila" is a very good and skilled player with long experience of playing at the highest level.

She is a classic type of leader on the plane and influences a lot with her energy and drive.

I am convinced that she will add a lot to the orange jersey and look forward to training and leading Sheila in the future, says Gunnarsdottir.
