The Breast Cancer Association in Dalarna demands equal care throughout the country

On Monday, researcher László Tabár, who previously worked at Falu Hospital, and the research group will receive an award for radiologists at a conference in Chicago.

- I have worked with an international research group for 30 years and this is the result of the last three years' work, says László Tabár to SVT Dlarna.

Want to see equal care for all

Maria Rundell from the Breast Cancer Association in Dalarna says that their members are very happy and proud that the research group now receives an award.

But at the same time I believe that there is more to do.

- We now need to introduce multimodal health examinations for those who have dense mammary glands.

Only then can we get equal care for everyone, says Rundell.
