Sunday January 9, a 51-year-old woman went to walk her dog with her 21-year-old son on the banks of the Thoré river, near Mazamet, in the Tarn.

Not seeing them return, her husband informed the gendarmes and the emergency services, who found the vehicle in a parking lot not far from a place to walk.

Monday evening, the gendarmes recovered the body of the young man at the level of a hydraulic power station, located downstream from the alleged place of disappearances.

This Monday, a week later, it was the body of the mother who was discovered in the town of Labruguière, confirmed the prosecutor of Castres, Chérif Chabbi.

The latter specified that an autopsy would be carried out in the coming days to determine the causes of death.

The track of accidental drowning was favored last week.
