A symposium was held in Saitama City to think about measures to eliminate death from overwork, and the bereaved family said, "I want young people to know that their bodies will be destroyed and to have enough sleep." ..

This symposium was held by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in conjunction with "Karoshi Prevention Month" in November, and about 100 people gathered at the venue in Omiya Ward, Saitama City.

Among them, NHK reporter Miwa Sato's mother Emiko, who died of heart failure at the age of 31 eight years ago, gave a lecture, "It is neither sick nor longevity, it is an irreplaceable daughter due to overwork. I've lost my heart. I still feel like I'm going through my heart. "

He added, "I couldn't stop trembling when I looked at the work record table after I died and wondered why I had to work such a long time. It must have been necessary for the organization to properly grasp the working hours." Said.

He added, "Karoshi can happen to anyone who works. I want young people to know that their bodies are broken and to have enough sleep."

After the lecture, Emiko Sato said, "I want young people to have enough sleep time. I want my boss to keep an eye on the working hours of his subordinates while also valuing his own body." ..
