The national snowmobile sled center known as "Snow Youlong" adopts "millimeter-level" hyperboloid concrete spraying and finishing molding technology, and the 1.9-kilometer track is sprayed and poured at one time.

The National Aquatics Center has been converted from the Water Cube to the "Ice Cube", using assembly-type quick disassembly and leveling dynamic monitoring technology to complete the "water-ice" site conversion within 20 days.

Shougang Ski Jump has developed regular tetrahedral modules and regular tetrahedral connection nodes to realize the conversion of track profiles in different competitions.

According to observations, the amount of snowfall in Yanqing and Zhangjiakou has reached the magnitude of a blizzard.

"Using this round of cooling and snowfall weather, the Yanqing Competition Area Alpine Ski Center and Zhangjiakou Competition Area will actively carry out artificial snowmaking operations."

  Zhao Weidong said that in order to ensure the quality of snow used in competitions, artificial snowmaking is basically used in major international events.

Artificial snowmaking will not have an impact on regional water safety and ecological environment.

According to data from the Beijing Water Affairs Bureau, the water demand during the Winter Olympic Games accounts for 1.6% of the current total water consumption in Yanqing District and 4‰ of the local water resources in Yanqing District; the post-match water demand accounts for 2.3% of the current total water consumption in Yanqing District. %, accounting for 6‰ of the local water resources.

Therefore, there is no shortage of water resources in the Yanqing area, and the water consumption during and after the Winter Olympics will not affect the water safety of the Yanqing area.
