The basis for the transfer of classes to distance learning will be the disease of 20% of children with coronavirus

It is noted that such a decision was made in connection with the entry into force on February 6 of a new resolution of the chief state sanitary doctor of Russia.

The press service explained that the changes in the rules are associated with the peculiarities of the course of the disease "omicron", similar to SARS.

“Previously, one child with a coronavirus infection was enough to bring a group or class to a distance,” RIA Novosti quotes Rospotrebnadzor.

Earlier, the operational headquarters for combating coronavirus infection announced the cancellation of the previously introduced quarantine for COVID-19 in school classes and kindergarten groups in Moscow.

The headquarters said that in the future, according to the decision of the educational institution, a class or group will be quarantined if 20% or more of the children are absent due to illness.
