His lawyer has insisted that there was no intentionality in the outrage suffered by the three professional cyclists, although he has not wanted to explain the circumstances in which the accident occurred and it will be his client who gives his version of the events -he has assured - when he recovers emotionally from what happened.
The outrage, according to what EFE learned from sources close to the case being investigated by the National Police, occurred around 12:20 p.m. in the district of Javalí Viejo when some of the cyclists reproached the driver for a reckless overtaking that put them in danger by not respecting the mandatory meter and a half distance to pass them on the road.

Hearing them, the accused braked, backed up and rammed Valverde from behind, who was very dizzy from the blow, and two of his companions, after which he fled along the RM-560 road as he passed through the district. Murcian Javalí Viejo.
Hours after the accident, he turned himself in to the local police and was detained until he was brought to justice on Monday morning.
"When he has the strength he will give his version, but now it is soon because he is assimilating what has happened, he has been detained for 45 hours and he is a man who takes oncological medication and has some ailments," said the lawyer.
