The theme of this event is the Beijing Winter Olympics. Peng Xiaoping, a Beijing folk arts and crafts artist and inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of miniature walnut noodles, told a reporter from Chinanews.com that he will lead Kaohsiung people to make the Beijing Winter Olympics mascot "Bingdundun" dough sculpture through video connection during the event.
Since 2009, he has traveled to Taiwan 9 times to participate in the cultural exchange of intangible cultural heritage, and the miniature walnut noodles he made are loved by the local people.
Peng Xiaoping believes that the use of intangible cultural heritage as a medium can deepen the cultural exchanges and recognition of compatriots on both sides of the strait.
