On May 9th, a passenger fainted suddenly on the G507 train. The police, flight attendants, doctors and nurses among the enthusiastic passengers were rescued by the train relay. The high-speed rail pitted in 8 minutes ahead of schedule and staged a realistic version of "Life and Death Speed".

Yao Wenlong, an anesthesiologist at Wuhan Tongji Hospital who was involved in the rescue, recalled, but when he heard the train broadcast looking for a doctor, he immediately rushed to Car No. 6 where the passenger fainted.

Doctor Yao carefully inspected and found that the man was cyanotic, he had no breathing, and his carotid artery was not beating. He judged that the patient's heartbeat had stopped and he needed to undergo cardiopulmonary resuscitation immediately.

Because there is no medical equipment such as injection medicine on the train, unfortunately, chest compressions can only be performed with bare hands.

Because the frequency of cardiopulmonary resuscitation is 100-120 times per minute, it can be effective, which consumes a lot of human energy.

Therefore, under the guidance of Dr. Yao, the nurses, police officers, enthusiastic passengers, and flight attendants were on both sides of the comatose passenger's body, and they performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation every two minutes.

In order to allow the sick passengers to receive further treatment as soon as possible, after coordination and discussion with the railway dispatching department, the G507 train, which was supposed to arrive in Hankou at 12:20, entered the station 8 minutes earlier.

It is understood that the sick passenger is still receiving further treatment in the hospital.
