Located in Chengkou County, Chongqing, Xianyi Primary School is 82 kilometers away from the county seat. It is the most remote mountain primary school in Chengkou.

Recently, the reporter saw in the elementary school that the certificates and works of the students participating in various calligraphy competitions at the county, city and national levels were plastered all over the classroom walls.

Qiu Wenjin, the principal of Xianyi Primary School, said that there are 320 left-behind children in this primary school, accounting for 60% of the students. Most of the students have to walk three or four hours of mountain roads to go to school. Therefore, resident students account for 60% of the total number of students.

In order to effectively manage students in a centralized and unified manner after school, the school has successively opened more than 10 interest groups represented by calligraphy, so that left-behind children can have a more colorful campus life.
