The judicial court of Quimper (Finistère) condemned this Thursday the company Thalasso.com to a fine of 65,000 euros.

The SARL was accused of moral harassment.

The hearing took place in February but the case was adjourned.

Three managers whose actions had been singled out by employees were respectively sentenced to suspended sentences of 5, 10 and 18 months in prison, reports

At the time of the events, which occurred between 2013 and 2019, the respondents held the respective positions of platform manager, human resources director and general manager.

One of the victims will receive 30,000 euros in compensation while another and the CFDT will be paid 15,000 euros each.

The fine is greater than that required by the prosecutor.

Employees had denounced a toxic work environment in which sexist, racist, denigrating and contemptuous remarks were heard.
