On the second day of Karim Benzema's trial in the Mathieu Valbuena sextape case, the Versailles prosecutor's office asked the criminal court to pronounce a ten-month suspended prison sentence and a 75,000 euros fine against the player of the Real Madrid.
The Blues striker is on trial alongside four other men for blackmailing Valbuena, threatening to reveal a sex video if he did not pay to prevent it from being broadcast.
The verdict is expected tomorrow Friday.
