Edgar Sekloka

is an urban poet.

He is a singer-songwriter, rapper and slammer.

He became known in tandem with Gaël Faye within the group "Milk, Coffee and Sugar".

But he is also a novelist.

He has published two novels and poetry.

His perfumed music, his refined flow, his honey rhymes and his tasty lyrics make his album a sweet mix of dream, resistance, rebellion and hope.

A disc of twelve precise, chiseled, and very modern pieces between hip-hop and African heritages, whether literary or African.

Edgar Sekloka is the guest of Jean-François Cadet for “

Un peu de sucrr

” available at Suga / Inouïes Distribution.

Mory Kanté, Fantani Touré, Amadou and Mariam all have one thing in common.

They all lived at some point in their life in the Seine-Saint-Denis department, in the Paris region.

A traveling exhibition, to pay homage to the ancients and to make discover the contemporaries of Afro music, will put down its suitcases from Bobigny to Montreuil, passing by Clichy and all these towns of the 93 which are impregnated by the rhythms of their percussions and the melodies of their voices.

Amélie Beaucour

visited it during her stop in Aubervilliers.
