A rugby charity match was held in Tokyo on the 11th to support Tonga, which was damaged by a large-scale eruption of a submarine volcano, and a team of players with roots in Tonga and Japanese national team candidates played against each other.

This match was sponsored by the Japan Rugby Union to support the affected Tonga, and on the 11th, the "TONGA SAMURAI XV" made by players from Tonga at the Prince Chichibu Rugby Stadium in Tokyo and the team made by the players who are candidates for the Japanese national team I played against each other.

In the match, the Japanese national team candidate took five tries and beat Tonga's team 31-12.



After the match, Nakajima from Tonga said, "I wanted to play a match that would make many people happy. I am grateful that I had a charity match for Tonga."



According to the Japan Rugby Union, all proceeds from this match will be donated to the Tongan embassy to help rebuild the affected areas.
