On September 27, this year's No. 16 typhoon "Olu" (super typhoon level) was crossing the South China Sea from east to west. At 19:00 that day, the maximum wind force was 16 (52 m/s) near the center, a distance from Da Nang City, Vietnam. About 230 kilometers east-south.

The Hainan Provincial Meteorological Bureau continued to issue three-level warnings for typhoons and rainstorms.

Affected by "Olu", strong wind and rain occurred in many places in Hainan. On the night of the 27th, the wind force on the sea surface near the Xisha Islands was 10-12, and the wind on the eastern and southern parts of Hainan Island and the sea near the Zhongsha Islands was 9-11.

There are heavy rains and local heavy rains in the eastern half of Hainan Island, and moderate to heavy rains in the western half.
