A dramatic subway accident occurred in the Mexican capital on the night of Monday to Tuesday.
A Mexico City skytrain bridge collapsed as a train passed over it.
A first assessment shows 13 dead and "nearly 70 injured," announced the risk management and civil protection service of the Mexican capital on its Twitter account.

The accident happened near Olivos station, on metro line 12 in the south of the capital.
Mexican media broadcast images of the accident recorded by CCTV cameras.
Local televisions showed dozens of firefighters and rescuers struggling through the night to extricate train passengers amid rubble, cables and twisted pieces of metal.
