The seventh wave of Covid-19 is still gaining in intensity in the Pays-de-la-Loire.
In one week, the incidence rate increased by 58%, to reach 662 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, indicates the regional health agency on Tuesday evening.
It is in Loire-Atlantique where this figure is the highest (781), well above the national average (693).
This resurgence of the epidemic is felt in the analysis laboratories, with a positivity rate which has climbed to 35.1%.
But no hospital pressure observed: on Tuesday, a total of 348 patients were treated in a health establishment in the region, including 21 in critical care or intensive care.
It is still 24% more than seven days ago.
