The strike continues at Paris-Roissy airport, on this first weekend of summer vacation departures.

This Saturday, 150 flights were canceled between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m., or one in five flights.

Part of the tracks have been closed for safety reasons.

On the passenger side, the wait is endless.

One week before the first big wave of holiday departures, concern is growing, especially at airports.

In Paris-Roissy, it is the third day of strike.

Firefighters stopped work on Thursday to defend their wages and protest their working conditions.

Part of the tracks had to be closed for safety reasons.

150 flights were again canceled between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Saturday, i.e. one in five flights.

For the passengers affected, the wait is endless.

"We are not warned"

"We pull a head from three kilometers even if it's not their fault. They are behind the counter, they suffer the customer. The problem is the people who go on strike knowing full well that they will make everyone sweat. world. We are not warned. We know it once we arrive in front of the ticket office, it is not even displayed on the screen", explains a traveler.

For others, the time begins to be long.

"We've been here since 8 a.m. this morning and we'll be there until 8:45 p.m.," explains a young woman.

Notice of strike next weekend

In addition to the wait, the cancellation of flights creates additional costs for travelers.

"'We pay extra for parking. We hope not to sleep at the airport. We can't do anything but be resigned. Anyway, we have no other choice. I can't take a pilot hostage and tell him 'We're taking off right away', it's not possible", adds another traveler.
