Beckum (dpa / lnw) - A stranger tore the handbag out of the walker three times over the weekend in Beckum.
Two women aged 92 and 86 fell to the ground and injured themselves slightly, a police spokeswoman said on Monday.
Another 80-year-old woman was uninjured.
The man had spoken to two senior citizens within a short time on Saturday and then stole their handbag.
Both handbags were found near the crime scene.
One of them contained only vegetables instead of a purse, the police spokeswoman said.
The third robbery took place on Sunday.
According to the police, the man stole the wallet of a senior citizen.
