At Blixbo concrete in Karlsbyheden outside Falun, work has just started after the holiday.

But it can be stopped again even before the next holiday if the raw material cement, which is so important to the company, is no longer delivered in sufficient quantity.

- The situation is serious and we can not buy cement from abroad in sufficient quantities, says the concrete company's owner Peder Flygt.

Difficult to find replacements for cement

- Of course, the cement industry must also help reduce carbon dioxide emissions, but as long as there is no other product that replaces cement, we actually have no alternatives, Flygt continues.

The government is now working on a long-term solution.
