A fire brigade vehicle was the target of stone throwing and eggs this Wednesday evening in Rouen (Seine-Maritime).

The firefighters were intervening in an apartment located in a building on rue Charles-Cros when the facts took place, around 9 p.m., says Actu 76.

They only noticed the damage to their rescue and victim assistance vehicle when they left the building.

A complaint has been filed

The departmental fire and rescue service (Sdis76) lodged a complaint following these degradations.

The projectiles notably hit the body of the truck and one of its headlights.

The firefighters themselves were not targeted by the stones or the eggs.

They were therefore unable to turn to justice.

Last September, a firefighter was struck in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray (Seine-Maritime), near Rouen.

The assault had also occurred during an intervention of the rescuers.

The suspect had called them after his partner felt unwell.
