Earlier, the Estonian Foreign Ministry proposed to the European Commission to introduce the eighth package of sanctions against Russia.

The head of the ministry, Urmas Reinsalu, stressed that Tallinn intends to achieve a political consensus in the entire Schengen visa area in order to impose sanctions against all Russian citizens.

Prior to this, the Estonian Foreign Ministry said that the country is closing the borders for Russian citizens with Schengen visas issued by the republic.
